Getting in the Grind

Up until maybe about a month ago, it has been CONSTANT transition following graduation.  Normally I like to go with the flow, but I was really longing for some stability amidst the seemingly constant craziness.  I can finally say that my schedule looks more like an organized mess, than just a mess.

I signed up for the Perspectives class, and am willfully and joyfully learning so much about God's mission for the world.  And yes, there is tension in what I'm learning and how I'm living.  I love it!

The meetings for our Intervarsity group with international students started up again, and it's just AWESOME to see so many students from all different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds come together to form genuine community.  And it is simply crazy to see so much interest in our upcoming Mark Study (an intense but really rewarding inductive study of the gospel of Mark), LAUP Dip (a 24-hour preview of a 6-week internship to learn about God's heart for the poor/oppressed), and Catalina Trip (a weekend in Catalina Island with international students from all over Southern California learning more about who Jesus is).  I can't wait to see how all these students will learn more about who God is, and how much He wants to be with them, at these events!

In other news, God has definitely blessed me with being able to provide for all my bills and student loans so far!  On the other hand, I can now see the consequences of my prolonged laziness...let's just say I need to start running more and eating more fiber >;]
